Technological developments bring changes in various public services, including in the field of taxation. To keep up with these developments, the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) implemented the Core Tax Administration System (Coretax) as a web-based tax administration system. Coretax is here to simplify the tax administration process by uniting various services in one system. Through this system, taxpayers can access tax services more practically without having to use many different applications. Previously, the tax reporting and administration process was carried out through several separate systems. With Coretax, all these services can now be accessed in one integrated portal so that the administration process becomes simpler and more organized.
A. Ease of Access to Tax Services As a web-based system, Coretax can be accessed directly via a browser without the need to download or install additional applications. This makes things easier for taxpayers because the system can be used via various devices as long as they are connected to the internet. Using an integrated system also makes tax data management neater. Processes that previously required several stages can now be carried out in one system, saving more time and energy. Apart from that, this system helps users monitor tax obligations more clearly because the data is stored centrally and can be easily accessed again if needed.
B. Benefits of Implementing Coretax
The application of Coretax provides several benefits for taxpayers, namely:
1. Tax services can be accessed online.
2. The administration process becomes faster and more practical.
3. Tidak perlu lagi menggunakan banyak aplikasi pajak.
4. Data pajak tersimpan dalam satu sistem.
5. Wajib pajak tidak perlu sering datang ke kantor pajak.
C. Kendala dalam Pelaksanaan
Dalam penerapannya, penggunaan Coretax masih menemui beberapa kendala, seperti:
1. Akses sistem yang terkadang membutuhkan waktu lebih lama.
2. Kondisi sistem yang belum selalu stabil pada jam tertentu.
3. Pengguna masih perlu beradaptasi dengan tampilan dan alur sistem yang baru.
4. Dibutuhkan sosialisasi lanjutan agar pemanfaatan sistem dapat berjalan lebih optimal.
Penerapan web Coretax merupakan langkah penting dalam upaya modernisasi administrasi perpajakan di Indonesia. Dengan sistem yang lebih sederhana dan terintegrasi, Coretax diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas layanan perpajakan serta memberikan kemudahan bagi wajib pajak dalam memenuhi kewajibannya. Seiring dengan penyempurnaan sistem dan meningkatnya pemahaman pengguna, Coretax diharapkan dapat mendukung administrasi perpajakan yang lebih tertib dan efisien.
